JI TTT 2025 Programme

Date: 19th – 20th April 2025
Venue: R801-802, UTS

The Junior Innovate (JI) Programme aims to equip primary school students with essential technical and life skills in areas such as, problem-solving, innovation, and communication. Through hands-on workshop and competition, students are guided and supported by their teachers to cultivate these skills from an early age.

The JI Train-the-Trainer (TTT) is a 2-day training programme jointly organised by SCM-UTS and Chumbaka. This year, the TTT was attended by 57 primary school teachers. The training was conducted by Mr. Siah Tung Chuan, with coordination by Eileen Ong. During the session, teachers were trained on PictoBlox and Arduino platforms to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to guide their students. The theme for this year’s Junior Innovate programme is Creating a Game for Change, focusing on topics related to justice and peace.
