An invitation was sent by organizer of the International Conference on Computer Drone Application 2017 (IConDA 2017) to Drone Research and Application Center (DRAC) at University College of Technology Sarawak (UCTS) to participate in the exhibition hosted in conjunction with the conference. The conference was held at Damai Beach Resort, Kuching, Sarawak from 9th to 11th November 2017. It served as a platform to discuss current issues related to the use of computer and drone applications. The Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, Chief Minister of Sarawak, officiated the conference. The Chief Minister visited University College of Technology Sarawak’s booth where he was given a demonstration of a Drone Simulator developed on the HoloLens by DRAC at UCTS. The simulator aims to serve as a training tool for drone piloting training in a mixed reality environment.
