The mobile app market is growing faster than a beanstalk. The industry is huge and growing daily, and there is no end in sight. Expectedly, the mobile developer population has boomed, and the number of mobile apps in the market has hit new heights. We at the School of Computing and Creative Media, took an initiative to develop the programming skills of our students. The students of Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) from the School of Computing and Creative Media were given an assignment to develop mobile Apps for Sleep Diary, Fits Diary and Kids Diary which is a part of their course titled “Mobile Application Development” lectured by Mdm. Anli Sherine. The students got experienced while writing codes and executing the App developed with Java which is one of the most preferred languages when it comes to Android app development.
KUDOS to the students who developed the mobile app and submitted on time. The tireless effort of our Dean, Dr. Alan Ting has made these apps to be available for use to the public and can be downloaded from Huawei App Gallery and Google Play store.
